This year Dylan is in 2nd grade and I think he's liking it pretty well. Of course there are days when I think he would rather just stay home but they all have those days. Bill went with him to Dads&Donuts yesterday which is a school sponsored breakfast. He said it was a nice time and he thought it was funny because every time Dylan would pass a girl they would all say, "Hi Dylan!".
His next adventure is baseball this coming season. I've been looking for the dates and usually sign ups are about this time of year. This will be his first year with real baseball, whereas he was just in T-ball last year. I told him I think I'll like this a lot better this year because the kids will all be on his level this year. T-ball allows kids as young as 4 to sign up and with him having a birthday right after the season is over he was one of the older kids. There is a pretty big gap in age when you are playing as an almost 7 year old with some kids who just turned 4. He's quite a slugger though I think if he sticks with it he'll turn out to be a pretty good ball player.
Jordan just turned 3 in November and he's still at home with me. He pretty much likes anything his brother likes. He even plays video games with Dylan when he comes home from school. Amazing how they can steer and everything at this age. I don't even think I can play as well as he can!
Bill is hanging in there with the same job which is going well. I also just started working this past November from home. I'm working two companies actually, West and Liveops. It is taking phone calls for the various companies you see advertising on TV. I usually work late at night once the kids go to bed because it has to be quiet in the house when I take calls. While I think Dylan could stay quiet and occupied for me Jordan isn't quite there yet ha ha. Its not bad work and its nice being able to earn a little extra money for the house.
I'll leave you all with some photos from the past few months...
My guys at Christmas.
